Research of existing regulations for remote controlled ships
For the safe establishment of remote-controlled ships, given rules and regulations must be observed. In addition, necessary adaptations must be made.
For this purpose, the focus is primarily on European and national texts such as ES-Trin, the Inland Navigation Road Regulations or the Rhine Navigation Passenger Regulations. The research is supplemented by consideration of maritime shipping, which is generally regulated by the classification societies.
Not to be neglected are the aspects of data transmission and safety. There are also documents relating to maritime shipping, but which also play a role in the automotive sector.
After elaborating on the existing sections, proposals for additions and changes will be further elaborated.
